Connect Claude to Your Product Catalog

Catalogian's MCP server connects directly to Claude.ai via OAuth. Once connected, Claude can answer questions like "what changed in my catalog today?" or "which products went out of stock this week?" — no code required.

The integration uses OAuth 2.1, so there's no API key to copy or config file to edit. Connect once from Claude.ai settings and it syncs across web, desktop, and mobile.

Claude gets access to 16 tools: browse sources, read snapshots, filter rows, query aggregations, download exports, and track change events with field-level diffs.

How it works

Add Catalogian as a Claude connector

In Claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Enter the Catalogian MCP URL and click Add. Takes 30 seconds.

Authorize with OAuth

Click Connect on the Catalogian connector. You'll be redirected to Catalogian to approve access, then returned to Claude. No API key needed.

Ask Claude about your catalog

Enable the connector in any conversation and ask in plain English. Claude uses Catalogian's 16 MCP tools to fetch live data and answer your questions.

Do I need an API key to connect Claude to Catalogian?

No. The Claude.ai integration uses OAuth — just add the connector in Settings → Connectors and click Connect to authorize. No API key or config file required.

Does it work on Claude.ai web and Claude Desktop?

Yes. Configure the connector once on Claude.ai web and it automatically syncs to Claude Desktop and mobile.

What Catalogian plan do I need for MCP access?

All plans include MCP access. The free Starter plan includes 50 MCP calls per day. Brand, Agency, and Enterprise plans have unlimited MCP calls.

Can I also connect other AI tools like Cursor or VS Code?

Yes. Catalogian's MCP server works with any MCP-compatible client. For tools other than Claude.ai, use your Catalogian API key with the mcp-remote proxy or direct Streamable HTTP transport.
